Conservancy Heritage Committee Meets

NNLC Heritage and Land Preservation Committee met on October12, at Rappahannock Community College, Warsaw Campus.

The agenda included a presentation by Estie Thomas, Conservation Easement Specialist for Virginia Outdoors Foundation, on "Working with Landowners in Preparation for Protecting their Lands." She is a great resource in helping us to be better facilitators to this process.

A further objective of the meeting was to improve coordination of efforts.

Philip Reed, NNLC consultant, shared his exciting progress on mapping to target high priority areas as they reflect organizational strategic planning.
