Be Informed: As a member of NNLC, learn
more about the Northern Neck’s rural, natural
and historic resources and how they impact the
quality of life we all cherish. The NNLC is the
only environmental organization that covers the
entire Neck! Learn more about conservation
easements and how the Northern Neck Land
Conservancy helps landowners. If you don’t
have land yourself, you may know someone that
does.
Be involved: Contact groups and county
governments about issues that directly affect
you. Know that you can make a difference. As
Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small
group of thoughtful, committed citizens can
change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing
that ever has.”
Be active: Spread the Word. Be an
ambassador. Tell folks about us and ask them to
spread the word. Word of mouth is the most
powerful advertisement there is. Friends telling
friends. Let us speak to your organization. Let
us help you preserve this land we all
love.
