Bound on the north by the Potomac River and the
south by the Rappahannock River, the Northern Neck
of Virginia is composed of King George, Lancaster,
Northumberland, Richmond and Westmoreland Counties.
It is an area of rich biological bounty and natural
beauty. Vast forest lands and rolling farm fields,
lush marshes, as well as clear blue rivers and
creeks create a serene, remote quality which has
nearly disappeared from the crowded East Coast.
Historic sites abound, many telling stories about
the very beginning of our country and its great
patriots.
